Goodbye my Friend

Image
Good Morning my dear blog reader, this is a special blog post with some of my personal favorite creations. Which I created for the company Scrapfx. Surely you have already heard that Jill the owner of the company Scrapfx is retiring on June 30th. That means I`m going to retire too :). After many years working for Jill, she has become a good friend. We never know where life will take us, but the time together through all the years, made a fantastic workship, at least for me :). I couldn`t have done better with you as my friend and boss. I wish you all the best in your new phase of life. It was an honor to work and create for you, my dear friend Jill. With a crying eye and a laughing eye, I would say Goodbye. Above a collage art journal page. Here is the link to the collage paper from ScrapFx: https://www.scrapfx.com.au/store/index.php? main_page=index&cPath=68&zenid=94fecdqhd9bd7g7fc5bd33a497 Above a scrapbook layout in mixed media style with a background stencil design. Goodbye

Image
Good morning my dearest blog reader, with the lyrics of the song by Boyz II Men, I say goodbye to my design team work for the company  13arts. How do I say goodbye, to what we had. The good times that made us laugh outweighed the bad. I thought we`d get to see forever. But forever`s gone away. My sincere thanks go to Aida, you are the best boss anyone could ask for. I wish you and your family all the best for the future. But now to my last scrapbook layout in mixed media style. I played along with the City Lights paper collection and lots of embellishments from the Rosalie paper collection. Lots of 13arts mediums of course for colour and texture. How do I say goodbye... A closer look to my scrapbook page: I added texture with a mix of multipurpose gel medium, Rainbow colour turquoise and colored grit gray light to the stencil Tattered diamonds. DIE cutting leaves and flowers in black give a good combination with the Rosalie embellishments. For the highlight on mine cutting leaves and

Altered Paper Bag

Hello everyone, and welcome to my design team inspiration for the company Scrapfx. I want to go out and feel you my dearest SPRING, and I will become creative by your beautiful colours. I never thought that I would ever say, Spring fascinates and inspires me so much, but it is true. As an Autumn person, I am beginning to love and feel Spring as my beloved Autumn. That is the reason why I love the beautiful leaves collage paper from ScrapFx so much. I created this time a paper-bag which I will use for a gift-bag. The kraft paper-bag has the size 20cm by 30cm. A closer look to my paper-bag: I started with a white gesso layer on my bag. After my layer was dry I added randomly black ink stamp images. Therefore I used the ScrapFx stamp, chickenwire. I decided I needed a little bit texture, so I added a mix of multipurpose gel medium and green metallic paint together and I used the mix with a ScrapFx stencil on my  background.  For my focale cluster I used a photo from an animal-book. I fou

You are growing so fast..

Hello my dearest blog reader, today`s sharing is for the company ScrapFx. I created a scrapbook layout with the beautiful faces collage paper called Contour face C silhouette leaves and transparency leaf. This is quite a easy page to do. I used for my background yupo. Yupo is a fantastic material to work with. It is perfect for watercolor and India inkt. You cannot use acrylic paint on Yupo that will not work. You can find Yupo in well- stocked art stores. Unfortunately, Yupo isn't that cheap, but it's worth it if you want to experiment with Indian- ink and wattercolor. But anyway... You are growing so fast. I used from ScrapFx: Contour face C:  leafy stem stamp:  ferny fronds black silhouette:  leaves and branches transparency:  Here is the link to Scrapfx:  https://www.scrapfx.com.au/store/  I have also a Facebook page link for you. https://www.facebook.com/scrapfx I hope you like my inspiration and you feel a little bit inspired to create with the beautiful ScrapFx products

"Trendy" -13arts Scrapbook Layout-

Image
Good Morning, and welcome to my 13arts design team work for the company 13arts. It is May already can you belive it. It is also one of my favorite months of the year. Nature begins to enchant us  with lovely colors and the sun warms our soul. Finally I can enjoy my beautiful hamrock in the garden surround with bird chirping. But anyway lets talk a little bit about my page. TRENDY... A closer look to my background. I chose for my background a sheet from the In Love paper collection from 13arts. Which I covered with two layers of Clear Gesso on the front side and one layer on the  back side. After that I added Black Gesso with the silicon brush to the stencil "Spring Flowers" from the Pastel Spring collection. and I added the Black Gesso also randomly to my page. Following by White Gesso splatters. For more intrest on my page I stamped with the Vintage Letter stamp and Black Archival Ink. My next step was adding a mix from Multipurpose Gel Medium and Color Glow Emerald to a st

Guest Design Layout

Hello everyone, and welcome to my second Guest Design project for the company  Shimmerz Paints . Once again I played along with the May release called "Flower Power Honey" This is such a beautiful Kit in soft pastel, brown and orange colors. The Kit includes also Vibez, Blingz and Shimmerz- fussy cutting paper, and decoration elements. If you like the vibe of the seventies this is your paper collection. Pauls Class... A closer look to my background work: For my background I used two of the beautiful paper sheets. But I shortened 2 cm from the top paper sheet,  so that the bottom paper sheet looks out at the edges. This is such a beautiful frame as well. Next I used two layers of clear Gesso on the front side and one layer of clear Gesso on the back side from my background paper. After my Gesso was dry, I added gel medium to a stencil and then I sprinkled randomly embossing glaze on the wet gel medium. After my embossing glaze was heat embossed I played along with the Shimmer

My Angel.

Hello my dearest blog reader, todays sharing is actually an older scrapbook layout in mixed media style. From my Angel layout collection. I created a few Angel pages with fotos from funeral places arond the world years ago.  I really love old weathered tombstones. This is such a wonderful memory. MY ANGEL... It`s good sometimes to look back at what I already have created in the last years. I can proudly say that I have become a talented scrapbook artist. I designed for challenge sites, for companys, I gave online workshops, I had a YouTube account where I showed tutorials, I designed my own background scrapbook paper, I give group or individually scrapbook lessons and last but not least I gave Skype lessons during the pandemic. I have achieved everthing that can be achieved in the field of scrapbboking and I am very grateful for that. Still I have so much ideas for many many pages and I think there is not enough time  during the day to do it all. So my dear blog readers, there will be

Hello and welcome to my first guest design blog post for the company Shimmerz Paints . If you are also interested in what the desingers from Shimmerz Paint create, here is the blog post link:  Shimmerz Paint Blog I had the honor to create with the May "Flower Power Honey" paper kit. Of course I created a scrapbook layout in mixed media style, that is what I like to do. The paper kit comes in soft pastel, yellow and brown colors.  The  paper-design reminds me a little bit of the seventies and of course of the most played music begin 1970. The Bee Gees with:                                                   "How deep is your Love,                                                     I really mean to learn.                                                     Cause we`re living in a world of fools.                                                     Breaking us down when they all should let us be.                                                    We belong to you and me&quo

13arts May challenge

Image
A beautiful statement and quote about what can happen in the Spring month of May. Happiness is a butterfly, which when pursued, is always just beyond your grasp, but which, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you. - Nathaniel Hawthorne- an American novelist and short story writer. His works often focus on history, norality and religion.  Welcome May and welcome my dear blog reader, for my first inspiration in the months of May, I designed for the new  13arts IG challenge a scrapbook layout in mixed media style. Our May mood board with lots of brown, rust and cream colors screams for a vintage project.   I started on a sheet of the Down Under paper collection.  Which has a red, rust colored background already. So that was perfect for what I had in mind. My stencils which I used are Tattered Diamonds and Lamps from the Industrial Zone collection. My decoration comes from different paper collections:  Industrial Zone, Magnolia Dreams and Mr: Handsome. I also used lots of brown
