Beginner layout with photo tutorial... Scrap FX DT member

hello everyone,

now that Christmas is over I can back crafting and posting.

first I will start with my post as DT member for Scrap FX Australia.

Here is the Link: Scrap FX

This is my first page in my new handmade scrapbook in the size of DIN 4.

I will make each month a layout with a photo tutorial for you.

The tutorials are simple to follow for beginner.

At the end of 2018 there is a nice book with a beautiful cover and 12 more pages.

The photo is 9,5 cm x 9,5 cm in black and white.

Color the chipboards.

Cut the design paper horizontally 21 cm and vertically 29,5 cm.
The left over paper is for the layering behind the photo.
My paper is from: My Minds Eye, the sweetest thing.

Add clear gesso on the page. Dry with heat tool.

Now make two stamp images with Archival Ink Aquamarine.
Dry with heat tool.

And again stamp with Archival Ink.
Archival Ink Jet Black and Vermillon. Dry with heat tool.
Make splatters with a paintbrush and Color Spray.
Spread the paint with the brush. Dry with heat tool.
Lindy`s Shabby Turbine Teal.

Repeat with a different color. Ecoline Nr. 334

Cut the left over paper in three little pieces.
Ink the edges and distress the edges.
Stapple the pages together.

Color a piece of cambric bandage.

Now put everything together.

Glue the heart and the cambric on your page.
Glue the photo on top of the paper layering and glue this to the page.
Glue the title on the photo
Scribble a frame. I used a Posca black pen
Stamp with Archival Ink Jet Black some stars.
Splatter with white and black color.
Please: Take the original as a guideline.

I used from the store by Scrap FX Australia.

DT member layout for More Than Words december 2017

Hello everyone,

this is my last post for today.

My inspiration page for More Than Words.

Here is the link: MTW

Family and Numbers,

what a great combination for the last challenge in 2017.

My inspiration for you is a canvas 15 cm x 20 cm.

One of my favorite quotes is this one from Desmond Tutu: 'You don't choose your FAMILY. They are God's gift to you, as you are to them.

I used from Finnabair the photo images to present

the Family.

Wood Numbers and Number stamps on the

background for the creative challenge.

And here is my inspiration:

Word Inspiration - FAMILY
Creative Challenge - NUMBERS

What does the word FAMILY inspire you to create?
You can choose to use the actual word somewhere on your project
or simply be inspired by it.  Since words are an integral part of our challenges, we want to know how this month's word stimulated your creative process, so please do explain in your blog post how it inspired you!

December is a month when most families count down the days until they can unite in big NUMBERS to celebrate a very special time of year! And speaking of numbers, we all love to use them on our projects, whether it is to document a special year, single out the age of someone dear or use them in a title.  We can add them using patterned paper, stamps, stencils, chipboard, etc.  We want to see how you will use them,
so come on and show us your numbers!

To be eligible to win, you have to incorporate both requirements of the challenge,
the word inspiration and the creative challenge.
Just look at our designers' projects and descriptions as examples.

You must also include our board image as well as a link to our blog in your entry post.  AND you may combine our challenge with no more than 2 other challenges.

Now, let's take a look at the prizes up for grab this month!

Thank you so much for visiting.

I see you on the blog.

Sunday, November 19, 2017

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

heute einmal wieder ein Layout was ich mit dem Farbspray

von Lindy`s Stamp Gang gemacht habe.

Hier kommt Ihr zu dem Webladen von Lindy`s: Lindy`s

  Image may contain: 1 person

No automatic alt text available.

dann habe ich den Hintergrund mit dem beidem Farbsprays bearbeitet.

Verwendet habe ich: Shabby Turbine Teal Shimmer Spray

Gag Me With A Spoon Gray Shimmer Spray

Diese Hintergründe finde ich einfach wunderschön und leicht zu machen.

Vielen Dank das Ihr heute vorbeigeschaut habt.

xoxo Heike
