Scrap Fx Australia blog post

Hello lovely blog reader, now we have only three days left, and then the new year begins. For me it will be an exciting new year. So as: designing for my favorite company Scrap Fx Australia, next to More than Words and Nomadic Soul Diaries challenge sites. Additionally, I have one or the other guest design post and also there will be another new German-language summer course (maybe even in English) so it will be a creative new year for me. Of course I hope that I will find time to do a few tutorials for my YouTube channel. But first I will inspire you with my last dt member project for the year 2019. I created an art journal page with a Christmas card from our friends. Simple art journal layout. I used  DIN4 watercolor paper for my background. I added Distress Ink in the color peeled paint and evergreen bough to the beautiful stencil Art Deco Then I stamped with the same Distress Ink and stamps from my stuff. Merry Christmas my dear blog post reader, probably some of you are already in stress with the last preparations for the festive Christmas dinner. That's why I want to keep this blog post for the company Scrap Fx Australia short. Lets start. I have for you as inspiration an art journal page in grungy style. My photo is from Pixabay free photo images. I created this page on DIN 4 watercolor paper. At the moment my favorite medium is still the baked texture from Seth Apter. First I added a layer acrylic paint in the color burnt umber. After my first layer was dry, I repeated this step three times. My next step was adding distress wax with my finger. A little bit here and there. After that I applied a thick layer of acrylic paint, in the color dark turquise. I let everything dry well. Hello lovely blog readers, surrounded by music of snow-covered landscapes, burning candles, warm chocolate and happy children's faces, I get the feeling of the upcoming Christmas. It is also the time of self-made gifts, of secrets, the smells of homemade cockies, the reunion of the family. All of this makes this month something very special. Here in the Netherlands it is the tradition that the gifts are handed over on 5 December. I think that's very nice. Because Christmas is then more the special day of the birth of Jesus. But anyway. I have for you an art journal page. Today was going great until...people. I found an photo image in a doctors magazine, which I transfer on my art journal page. But first I added lots of acrylic paint on my art journal page. After everything was dried I stamped with stamps from Scrap Fx and Versafine black Ink.
