Hello everyone,  and welcome to my second blog post in the month of April for the company Scrap Fx. Australia. Here is the link to ScrapFx:  http://www.scrapfx.com.au/store/ Finally our lockdown here in The Netherlands which started on December 15th, 2020  will be lightened a little bit. The children are now allowed to go to school twice a week. We are allowed to do group sports outside. We can have two people at the same time at home for a visit. Unfortunately the numbers of infection are still extremely high and the hospitals are also very busy. But our politicans hope that the people will still follow the Covid-19 rules.  I have decided for myself that I will stick on the stay at home rule and I hope that it is possible that I will also get my Covid-19 vaccination quickly. But anyway. I created for you as inspiration another one sheet paper mixed media art journal mini book. But the size is a little bit different. The pages are long and small.  Hello my dear blog reader,  todays blog post is for the company 13@rts. Here is the link:  http://13arts.pl/ Begin 2021 I decided to create more layouts with my big stash of vintage photos from different  companys and my own old family photos. This scrapbook page in mixed media style is with one of the vintage photos as well. For me the color pink is more a men color. When you look at the history of the colors. The pink color was in the 19th century a boy color. The pink color was seen as a stronger color and the perfect match to brown hair and brown eyes. But this changes in the baby bommers time rond 1940s.  Pink became the color for girls. Anyway.  I created my mixed media layout on the beautiful Spring Pastel paper collection. So beautiful. A closer look to my page. This is the Pastel Spring paper pad 12inch by 12inch This is the Pastel Spring paper pad A6    This is the page which I used for my background. I started as always with clear gesso from 13@rts. Two layers are perfect a

Hello everyone, I hope you are all good and your day is wonderful. The Spring is coming and I am so happy. What started with a typical April weather so as: rainfall, snow, sun and frost, ends after a week of Easter in lovely sunny weather. I cannot wait to work in my garden. As all hobby gardeners I have some new plans for my garden. I have already planted three new trees, a plum tree, a cowardly tree and  a pear tree. Unfortunately, our 1930 land wall is no longer stable enough, the wall threatens to fall.  Unfortunately, the construction workers did not have time to rebuild the wall until October.  Now I have a part of my garden that doesn't look so good, but I don't think that's so horrible  I get a beautiful wall in October, walled up with the original stones from 1930.  But anyway. I have two beautiful design team member projects for you, with the amazing products of ScrapFx. At the moment I really love to create art journal mini books from one sheet of paper. My pape

Hello everyone, Today it is all about the metallic shine powder from 13@rts called " Color Glow". I am a big fan of the beautiful high pigmet Color Glows. The possibilities to work creatively with the powders are limitless. I am listing a few possibilities to create with the powders. 1. mixing with water. 2. mixing with liqued acrylic medium. 3. mixing with gel medium. 4. mixing with multipupose gel medium. 5. mixing with acrylic binder.  6. mixing with modeling paste. 7. mixing with gesso. 8. mixing with mist/spray. One of the great thing to create and mix my own mediums with the color glows is. I can determine the intensity of the color glows by myself. I can mix soft and light colored color glow mix or I can mix bright and strong colored color glow mix, depending what I need. Here is my scrapbook layout in mixed media style with the new release of Color Glow. Here are the link to the Color Glows from 13@rts: Color Glow. this is the link to all Color Glows: http://13arts.p
