Heike`s AugenBlick

Hello my dear blog reader, how are you? I hope you are doing well. For the May IG challenge from Nomadic Soul Diaries I created a layout 12inch by 9inch with a photo of Romy Schneider as Empress Sissi from Austria. As a young girl I watched these movies with joy. The lovely friendly nature of the actress Romy Schneider as Empress Sissi of Austria has enchanted many Christmas days (favourite time for these films shown on television in these days ...). Today I know that the real Empress had little in common with the film character. I think Romy was my rainbow with her loving kindness at the Christmas time long time ago. I used for my layout: Watercolor paper from Canson. 13@rts watercolor set and design paper, travel around the world. And Finnabair art pebbles. Use the #NSDmay20....

Hello Nomadic soul diaries fans... welcome on my blog post for the April challenge on the IG site of NSD. This month is the challenge . 1. create a card or ATCs 2. creative challenge are cracks. 3. the inspiration words are: Creative people colour outside the lines. 4. get inspired from the colors of the Mood board, and use at least three colors. 5. post your entry on the IG site of NSD. The words "creative people color outside the lines" inspired me to create a card with lots of paper layers from the beautiful paper collection of 13@rts. Which I still painted with watercolors for more color intensity. I feel also as a creative person with the ability to invent or skillfully redesigning art. In my case redesigning from the 13@rts paper. For the creative challenge: I added clear crackleglaze on the circles and the title. Dance to the music of your soul.. Hello lovely blog reader, "If you cannot teach me to fly,   teach me to sing." Peter Pan   (JM: Barrie) How did the March quote inspire me? First of all, our passion for music and dance. Often it happens that my handsome hubby and I spontaneously swing the dance leg and dance together. Just so fun. But not only the music from the music box, also the piano music played by my husband fills our house. I love it when he plays and I cook. The table is already covered the candles burning and then the sound of the piano music. An evening cannot better end, right? But now back to my dt member project. I have a paperbag décorted with stamp images of music. I also used an old music DIE from Tim Holtz and music design washi tape. As colors I used Distress Ink, Lindys spray and colored embossing powder. Metall embellishments from the dollar store here in The Netherlands. My photo image is from: pixabay free photo images. Dance with me...
