Live Your Life

Image
Good morning everyone, how are you today? The last few days, we had wonderful sunny days here in The Netherlands. Perfect for a summer scrapbook layout in mixed media style, right? I played along with Tim Holtz snapshot photos, a couple on a beach. The yellow color on my page stands for the sun and the blue watercolor for the sea. Don`t we all want to live our lives as we please? Since I no longer have obligations as a designer in design teams. I am free for my other hobbies, so as gardening, reading and fitness. I am busy converting my garden entirely to a permakultur garden following the method of Ruth Stout. After three years of a warm and dry summers I can see and feel the climat change in our garden. After that, I would also like to grow more of our own vegetables,  new plant beds had to be created. What a beautiful way to spent the time outside. But anyway there is also the new book of the "Seven Sisters" waiting of me to read it. LIVE YOUR LIFE... I created this layou...

You are growing so fast..

Hello my dearest blog reader, today`s sharing is for the company ScrapFx. I created a scrapbook layout with the beautiful faces collage paper called Contour face C silhouette leaves and transparency leaf. This is quite a easy page to do. I used for my background yupo. Yupo is a fantastic material to work with. It is perfect for watercolor and India inkt. You cannot use acrylic paint on Yupo that will not work. You can find Yupo in well- stocked art stores. Unfortunately, Yupo isn't that cheap, but it's worth it if you want to experiment with Indian- ink and wattercolor. But anyway... You are growing so fast. I used from ScrapFx: Contour face C:  leafy stem stamp:  ferny fronds black silhouette:  leaves and branches transparency:  Here is the link to Scrapfx:  https://www.scrapfx.com.au/store/  I have also a Facebook page link for you. https://www.facebook.com/scrapfx I hope you like my inspiration and you feel a little bit inspired to create with the ...

After the embossing was done I stamped with the chickenwire stamp and the scratching & scribble stamp. The next step was adding black gesso and lots of splattering. The NEW release for this month February is all about ScrapFx Steampunk . I created a scrapbook layout in mixed media style with a photo from Marcin Nagraba. The photo was so perfect for what I had in mind. And that was a feminine/wintery  Witch Steampunk page in white, black, mint and silver.  My foto comes from the Polish photographer and visial artist : Marcin  Nagraba. Here I have one of my favorite sentences which matches perfectly my scrapbook layout. Magic comes from what is inside you. It is part of you.  Hello everyone,  with the new years eve around the corner I decided to create for my last  ScrapFx blog post in 2022 a mixed media layout with the beautiful Happy New Year chipboard from ScrapFx. The December month was quite a bussy month for my hubby and myself. Unfortually I became a cold a week for Christmas. That was not funny at all.  We had or rather we still have the house full of visitors. It`s all very nice but also very tiring. Because I `m still not fully recovered from my cold. But any way... A closer look to my page:  One of the crown transparency image on the Christmas postcard angel looks so cute . A piece from the Happy New Year chipboard coloured in red Rainbow color . Stamp image and fussy cutting images with the gear stamp and the flower power stamp is a lovely embellishment on my page. I also used for my decoration on my page, red ar...
