Good morning everyone, it`s about a good month that we made a change in the Facebook mini challenge group by More Than Words. Now postcards are left too in the size 10 cm x 15 cm. I´m a big fan of homemade postcard in 2D style. The challenge rule is the same. We must see the "word" from the month on your project. This is my postcard from the February mini challenge with the word " come". I used a standard black cardstock card as base. My background paper is Ranger special stamp paper which I cut to 9,5 cm x 14,5 cm. Many different Distress Oxide and Distress Inks also Distress Paint give a harmony as I like it !! Stamp and stencil work, doodles with a black and white Posca pen and a lovely photo images from Tim Holtz complete the whole thing to a small work of ART!! I also brought my DT member postcard for the March month to life in this way. Our challenge word is "warm"... According to the calendar, we have spr

Art Journal

Hello my dear blog readers, I started weeks ago with my new 15 cm x 15 cm mini art journal pages. Inspired by Rach0113 on YouTube. Still I love this size and my collection fashion children photos get finally a lovely place. This art journal page is inspired by the March "pick a stick challenge" on Facebook. The color challenge was: pistachio and grey. and the steps are: sprinkles, stencil, letter, heat, dark and snowflakes. I used: Distress oxide in cracked pistachio and Distress ink in hickory smoke. Prima black gesso. Ecoline Nr. 100. Gold embossing powder. Tim Holtz stencil and stickers. The crafters workshop stencil. WOW white embossing powder. For this beautiful girl I created a doodle background. That was the challenge from Rach0113. I love to experiment with colors. The warm yellow/gold color in contrast to the cold color gives a stunning effect. I used for this art Journal page: Prima Acrylic paint in fresh orange and gold rush.

ART JOURNAL

Hello, hello, today I want to share with you my two new art journal pages. Inspired from Rach0113 on YouTube.( I think her name is Rachel) She publishes a new challenge once a week on YouTube, The first challenge was " Flowers" There is also a Facebook page under #Artful Evidence which you can share your interpretation from the challenge. The art journal page must be 6x6inch or 15 cm x 15 cm. From my collection of children- fashion photography in black and white I always wanted to make a small fairy-tale or whimsy cal art book. I just needed this challenge to start my book. Thanks Rach0113. I have to say that I am completely in love with these two pages and I can already tell you that you will soon see more of this!! Thank you so much for visiting and commenting. xoxo Heike artfulevidence.  Rachels blog facebook page Artful Evidence

Hello everyone, welcome to my new DT inspiration for the  main challenge by More than Words.                                                           Here is the link to the blog from:  MTW ATTENTION this is important: We have new challenge rules... I made for this challenge an art journal page. I`m comfortable with who I`am. Art journal-pages is something I do not show so often here on my blog. But still I like it!! Maybe that`s because I use my art journal book to try out new techniques. Here is my creative challenge step: I designed this page on Canson Acrylic paper 24 cm x 32 cm. At first I draw four large circles and then four small circles. I used for the green color Lindy`s spray: Cathedral Pines Green and for the bordeaux/ purple color Lindy`s spray: Open Arms Armethyst. For the two soft colors I used Jane Davenport watercolor set. I also used the same color for the small circles, but here I diluted more water so that it looks more
