 Good morning, how are you today? today is my last blog post in the month of January for the company  ScrapFx . Lucky me I have in my design teams a fix date so I can create weeks before I must post. That makes the work as designer so much easier, at least for me. But anyway, lets start with my layout. I created my ScrapFx layout on the new paper collection Secret Garden  from 13arts. My color choise was this time lilac, turquoise , white and black. I usually always prepare everything for my layout,  that means I have already chosen my photo and my embellishments. But in this case I started with my background. I had a little jar of lilac color over, which was on my desk and I was in a mood for a lilac color, so way not use it, right? I also used it on my chipboards: La vie est belle, love tag and the sketchy number from Scrapfx.  Hello everyone, and welcome to my second blog post in January for the company  13@rts . Once again I played around with an older paper collection  Magnolia Dreams  and a new one called  Memory Lane . These two paper collection matches perfectly together. Two of us. A closer look to my page: The photo comes from Finnabair photo collection. Lots of  Memory Lane ephemera  and  Secret Garden chipboard . My  title  is from the 12inch by 12inch cardstock word sheet and sometimes I like to add tiny rosebud  flowers  to my page. For my background I used the  stencil wings with ornament  and the medium white modeling paste .  Lots of  Rainbow color  and  Color Glow  splatters in rose gold and pink.  Hello everyone, if you are new in the big world of mixed media scrapbooking, and you feel a bit overwhelmed with all the products on the market. Here is the solution for you. 13arts  has now two scrapbook mixed media kits available. Kit #1.  basic kit #1 Kit#2.  complementary kit #2 AMAZING... A short description about my page. I created a simple beginners mixed media scrapbook page on white cardstock. I colored my background paper with Color Glow "Goldstone" and the liquid gel medium, in a light soft brown color. After that I added Rainbow "Yellow Amber" color to a stencil on my background. I`m not going here for an exact stencil image rather for more an interesting pattern. Then I added to the stamp which is in the kit#2 Rainbow "Navy Blue" color and I stamped  randomly. The next step was slattering in blue and yellow. Creating art journal pages is what I do when I have less hours to create. We had our oldest daughter and her three children visiting us for 10 days,  after that we had to take care of our oldest son`s two dogs. A border collie and a belgian shepherd.  As you can see, I`ve been pretty busy. But anyway.  Hello my dear followers, today`s sharing is for the company  ScrapFx Australia . A company for stamps, stencils, chipboard, collage paper, transparency and silhouettes. ScrapFx deliverd worldwide. I choose for my design team inspiration following products from ScrapFx:  Dream big stencil, Art Phrase stencil, Diamond stencil, Blossom stem stamp, Branch A and B stamp, Bubbles flower stamp,  Dahlia stamp, Zinnia stamp and Large leaf stamp. Watercolor feathers. I created my art journal page in an art journal book from Ranger. Which has a smooth surface to work on.  My colors for my page where inspired from the beautiful watercolor feathers from ScrapFx. For my focale point I used one of Tim Holtz tiny dolls. STRONG...  Hello my dear followers, How are you today? Sometime I go back in time to look at my old scrapbook layout designs. There are lots of pages which I created the last years. Today`s sharing are one of my favorite scrapbook layouts. You can`t edit your soul... On the photo is my handsome hubby and he inspired me to create a checkerboard kind of background with acrylic color splashes. My hubbys hobby is  chess which he plays of a very high level. The next scrapbook layout is a watercolor and indiaink background. Where I added some black stamp images and a gel medium skin transfer as  focal point. Miss sunshine... is a mixed media background scrapbook layout with a fussy cutting black and white photo. The next layout is a 3D effect scrapbook layout with lots of flowers and greenery.  Hello my dear followers, todays sharing is for the company 13arts. I created for my first design team project in the New Year a wintery  colored layout on the Magnolia Dreams paper collection. IMAGINE   A closer look to my page. I started with a  white gesso wash on my page. For more texture on my page I added crackle paint to the  chessboard . The  chipboard is from the Memory Lane paper collection . Lots of beautiful  3D effect products  for my mixed media design around the photo.
