and welcome to my second blog post for the company
Scrap Fx Australia.

I created for you as inspiration two mini books and one art journal page.

Let`s start with the art journal page.


I created my art journal page on watercolor paper with the beautiful
collage paper of ScrapFx.
I love using collage paper to design my pages. Collage paper is super easy to use, it can be torn or be cut, depending on whether one prefers frayed edges or sharp edges. I myself prefer to tear the collage paper. As glue I prefer gel medium or UHU adhesive pen. The chipboards are colored with black gesso and a little bit of glitter from 13@rts.

My next inspiration for ScrapFx....

At the moment I like to create mini books with the name zine from one sheet of paper.
I did not invent this type of mini book by myself. Unfortunately, I can not tell you the name
of the creator. The name zine comes from the word magazine. Actually, these small books were made as fan books.  Most of the time the zines were then exchanged with others. The first zines still had fan themes as: Harry Potter, Star Trek etc.
I personally find that these little books are perfect as a gift.

chipboard from ScrapFx and of course a little bit watercolor from 13@rts,
posca pens, gel medium and gesso.

Live Your Life

 Good morning everyone, how are you today? The last few days, we had wonderful sunny days here in The Netherlands. Perfect for a summer scrapbook layout in mixed media style, right? I played along with Tim Holtz snapshot photos, a couple on a beach. The yellow color on my page stands for the sun and the blue watercolor for the sea. Don`t we all want to live our lives as we please? Since I no longer have obligations as a designer in design teams. I am free for my other hobbies, so as gardening, reading and fitness. I am busy converting my garden entirely to a permakultur garden following the method of Ruth Stout. After three years of a warm and dry summers I can see and feel the climat change in our garden. After that, I would also like to grow more of our own vegetables,  new plant beds had to be created. What a beautiful way to spent the time outside. Guest Design Layout

 Hello everyone, and welcome to my second Guest Design project for the company  Shimmerz Paints . Once again I played along with the May release called "Flower Power Honey" This is such a beautiful Kit in soft pastel, brown and orange colors. The Kit includes also Vibez, Blingz and Shimmerz- fussy cutting paper, and decoration elements. If you like the vibe of the seventies this is your paper collection. Pauls Class... A closer look to my background work: For my background I used two of the beautiful paper sheets. But I shortened 2 cm from the top paper sheet,  so that the bottom paper sheet looks out at the edges. This is such a beautiful frame as well. Next I used two layers of clear Gesso on the front side and one layer of clear Gesso on the back side from my background paper. After my Gesso was dry, I added gel medium to a stencil and then I sprinkled randomly embossing glaze on the wet gel medium. After my embossing glaze was heat embossed I played along with the Shimmer
