May Play Layout inspiration.
Hello and again for today.
I have for you a mixed media layout which I designed for the new challenge blog
Here is the Link: https://www.artplaygroundblog.com/
Exciting that there is a new challenge blog.
Sharon a talented mixed media artist is the owner from this site.
She invites me for a guest design.. Thank you so much my dear friend.
Here my dear followers is the mood board.
All about the center...
I created for this first challenge a mixed media layout.
My May Challenge Monthly Tip:
First I am always looking for the perfect photo (the center of the layout).
The selection can by influenced by: my day-mood or my day-color
or my day-song....... or in this case the mood bord form the challenge blog.
For me the most important thing is the background work.
As for the old Masters I prefer to start on a white paper.
Stamps and stencil with waterproof Ink is always my first step.
The photo is my guideline that means I put the photo on the paper over and over again,
to control where I have to stamp, where I have to add color, where I have to work with the stencil.
The embellishment part is dependent from what I have designed in the background.
Sometimes I glue my photo directly on the paper with a title and done,
or I add laces, sisal, wire and and and ....
I wish everyone best luck for the May challenge.
There are awesome prizes to win.
Lindy`s, 7 Dots studio, Lemon Craft and Worth Products...
I used for this layout:
Archival Ink, Distress Ink, Acrylic Ink, 13@rts gold Ink, Ecoline Nr 100,
lots of leaves stamps, Chipboard ....
I hope you feel a little bit inspired.
Dear Sharon I would like to say thank you so much for
being a guest designer for your first challenge..
Thank you so much for visiting my blog post.
Have a nice day.
xoxo
Heike
