Before I will start with new inspirations about the upcoming paper collections,

I want to show you my scrapbook layout in mixed media style with one of the old

paper collections called "Rosalie" and a photo of my daughter Mia with her grandmother Ilse.

It`s your day...


A closer look to my page.


I colored the chipboards from 13@rts with Color Glow Emerald and the word girl 

with the coral color from the 13@rts watercolor set.

I added behind my photo paper from the Bella paper collection.


I framed the photo of my daughter with the new 3D impresslits floral frame from Tim Holtz.

My paper was one sheet from the Rosalie A6 card set.

My title is from the 13@rts word cardstock.

I colored my title also with the 13@rts watercolor set in the color coral.

Under my photo is a butterfly from the Sunrise paper collection.

The male photo is from my vintage paper photo collection.


For texture on my background paper I mixed black gesso with multipurpose gel medium

and I added this mix to a stencil abstract flower from the

 Dreamland paper collection to my background paper.

After that I covered the wet mixture with black embossing powder. I wanted a shiny layer on my 

background. After everything was dry I added chalk celadon mist to my background.

The hats are from the 13@rts ART book.


The butterfly is from a 13@rts transparency sheet.

The clocks are from a Victoriana fuzzy cut paper sheet.


Some embellishments are from the Bella paper collection.

For my finishing touch I added coral color splatters from the 13@rts watercolor set.

Live Your Life

 Good morning everyone, how are you today? The last few days, we had wonderful sunny days here in The Netherlands. Perfect for a summer scrapbook layout in mixed media style, right? I played along with Tim Holtz snapshot photos, a couple on a beach. The yellow color on my page stands for the sun and the blue watercolor for the sea. Don`t we all want to live our lives as we please? Since I no longer have obligations as a designer in design teams. I am free for my other hobbies, so as gardening, reading and fitness. I am busy converting my garden entirely to a permakultur garden following the method of Ruth Stout. After three years of a warm and dry summers I can see and feel the climat change in our garden. After that, I would also like to grow more of our own vegetables,  new plant beds had to be created. What a beautiful way to spent the time outside. Guest Design Layout

 Hello everyone, and welcome to my second Guest Design project for the company  Shimmerz Paints . Once again I played along with the May release called "Flower Power Honey" This is such a beautiful Kit in soft pastel, brown and orange colors. The Kit includes also Vibez, Blingz and Shimmerz- fussy cutting paper, and decoration elements. If you like the vibe of the seventies this is your paper collection. Pauls Class... A closer look to my background work: For my background I used two of the beautiful paper sheets. But I shortened 2 cm from the top paper sheet,  so that the bottom paper sheet looks out at the edges. This is such a beautiful frame as well. Next I used two layers of clear Gesso on the front side and one layer of clear Gesso on the back side from my background paper. After my Gesso was dry, I added gel medium to a stencil and then I sprinkled randomly embossing glaze on the wet gel medium. After my embossing glaze was heat embossed I played along with the Shimmer
