 Hello my dear blog reader,

welcome to my first blog post for the company ScrapFx.

Our New Year here in The Netherlands started with rain rain and rain.

I love rainfall and I think my garden too :)

I can`t wait for the garden season to start again.

At this moment I am in the process of making the first orders for my garden.

This year I want to plant a so-called bee tree.

After three years I finally found a garden store here in The Netherlands

who sells a tree like that. Yeah!!

But anyway.

Paint your own reality.





On the photo is my youngest daughter Mia.

This page is actually super easy.

I used Distress Ink for my background and over that black stamp images.

Highlight with a contrast color.

Transparency, a black and white photo and a flower images pin as embellishments.


This art journal page has a background from my geliplate left over paint. More precisely:

 the left over paint on my brayer which I added always on DIN4 paper.

This kind of paint backgrounds is perfect for beginners.

I added collage paper, markmaking with a posca pen, stencil work and stamp images.

Live Your Life

 Good morning everyone, how are you today? The last few days, we had wonderful sunny days here in The Netherlands. Perfect for a summer scrapbook layout in mixed media style, right? I played along with Tim Holtz snapshot photos, a couple on a beach. The yellow color on my page stands for the sun and the blue watercolor for the sea. Don`t we all want to live our lives as we please? Since I no longer have obligations as a designer in design teams. I am free for my other hobbies, so as gardening, reading and fitness. I am busy converting my garden entirely to a permakultur garden following the method of Ruth Stout. After three years of a warm and dry summers I can see and feel the climat change in our garden. After that, I would also like to grow more of our own vegetables,  new plant beds had to be created. What a beautiful way to spent the time outside. Guest Design Layout

 Hello everyone, and welcome to my second Guest Design project for the company  Shimmerz Paints . Once again I played along with the May release called "Flower Power Honey" This is such a beautiful Kit in soft pastel, brown and orange colors. The Kit includes also Vibez, Blingz and Shimmerz- fussy cutting paper, and decoration elements. If you like the vibe of the seventies this is your paper collection. Pauls Class... A closer look to my background work: For my background I used two of the beautiful paper sheets. But I shortened 2 cm from the top paper sheet,  so that the bottom paper sheet looks out at the edges. This is such a beautiful frame as well. Next I used two layers of clear Gesso on the front side and one layer of clear Gesso on the back side from my background paper. After my Gesso was dry, I added gel medium to a stencil and then I sprinkled randomly embossing glaze on the wet gel medium. After my embossing glaze was heat embossed I played along with the Shimmer
