Hello, hello, hello... I am back from my vacation in France, what a fantastic and beautiful country. But anyway, I did for my dt member work another mixed media mini book with lots of stamps and stencil work. For my embellishments I used chipboards and transparency. Let´s start. Happy Birthday..... My color choice for this book was: Old Holland acrylics in red, blue, black, white and gold. The ribbon is a piece from my grandmothers tablecloth.  Unfortunately, the tablecloth has so much dirty spots which I cannot get cleaned. But that beautiful fabric in the memory of my grandmother was reason enough to keep it for my art work!!  I cut it in strips for my mixed media work and voila I have a piece of memory art work! I started with a black paper sheet 30 cm x 40 cm. Then I scored  horizontally on 15 cm and I scored  vertically on 10 cm, 20 cm and 30cm. Hello my dear blog Readers, it is time for my second May post. I created two art journal pages inspired from the painter Francis Picabia`s stilhouette paintings. Very minimalistic and dramatic. I love to create with the products from ScrapFX . Hello my dear blog readers, it is time to show you my first post for the May blog Scrap FX Australia. All about beautiful stamps, silhouette and transparency. I am so in love with this products ..... that is the reason why I create third layouts... LOL!! I like and prefer minimalistic embellishments. Okay, lets start: My first page is done on a Yupo Background paper. For the coloring I used Archival Ink and Alcohol Ink. My second page is on cardstock paper. Hello my dear blog followers, I hope you had a fantastic Easter weekend. I spend my Easter time with my kids and hubby, our weather here in the NL was more than beautiful 25`C. But anyway…. I also had some time to create my DT member projects for my second post for Scrap FX. Hello my dear blog Readers, today is my turn to inspire you to create with the awesome products from Scrap FX Australia. Here is the link:  http://www.scrapfx.com.au/blog/ I created a layout with a photo from Alexander Gerst a German astronaut. 1. add a layer clear Gesso on white Cardstock. 2. dry with a heat tool. 3. stamp with Archival Distress Ink and the Orb stamp. 3. add Archival Distress reink with a brush randomly on your paper. 4. dry with a heat tool. 5. add with a big brush pen and the molecules stencil and moon stencil     light Grey Accents. 6. add now lots of black stamp images to your paper. I prefer Versafine Ink. 7. cover the black stamp Images with black embossing powder. Melt the     black embossing powder with the heat tool. 8. add now randomly black Gesso. 9. glue the photo and the stilhouette on your paper. 10. add scribbel lines with a pencil, add a title to your page.
