Hello my dear blog Readers,

it is time for my second May post.

I created two art journal pages inspired from the painter

Francis Picabia`s stilhouette paintings.

Very minimalistic and dramatic.



I love to create with the products from ScrapFX .

I used for the abstract art journal pages:

I had so much fun with creating…. I create another art journal page,

a simple art journal page.



My next project is a junk journal book.





I started ripping paper in 30 cm by 10 cm.
Then I glued the paperstrips with masking tape together.
I folded the book in accordion style.
After that I added clear gesso and a collagelayer with old book pages.
Coloring and stamping was my next step.
After that I add the stencil images,sticker, chipboards and transparency.
Accents with a White posca pen.
A little bit stiching and I was done.

Right now I love making These little books, perfect as a beautiful gift for friends.

Live Your Life

 Good morning everyone, how are you today? The last few days, we had wonderful sunny days here in The Netherlands. Perfect for a summer scrapbook layout in mixed media style, right? I played along with Tim Holtz snapshot photos, a couple on a beach. The yellow color on my page stands for the sun and the blue watercolor for the sea. Don`t we all want to live our lives as we please? Since I no longer have obligations as a designer in design teams. I am free for my other hobbies, so as gardening, reading and fitness. I am busy converting my garden entirely to a permakultur garden following the method of Ruth Stout. After three years of a warm and dry summers I can see and feel the climat change in our garden. After that, I would also like to grow more of our own vegetables,  new plant beds had to be created. What a beautiful way to spent the time outside. Guest Design Layout

 Hello everyone, and welcome to my second Guest Design project for the company  Shimmerz Paints . Once again I played along with the May release called "Flower Power Honey" This is such a beautiful Kit in soft pastel, brown and orange colors. The Kit includes also Vibez, Blingz and Shimmerz- fussy cutting paper, and decoration elements. If you like the vibe of the seventies this is your paper collection. Pauls Class... A closer look to my background work: For my background I used two of the beautiful paper sheets. But I shortened 2 cm from the top paper sheet,  so that the bottom paper sheet looks out at the edges. This is such a beautiful frame as well. Next I used two layers of clear Gesso on the front side and one layer of clear Gesso on the back side from my background paper. After my Gesso was dry, I added gel medium to a stencil and then I sprinkled randomly embossing glaze on the wet gel medium. After my embossing glaze was heat embossed I played along with the Shimmer
