13arts September layout #2

 Hello everyone,

and welcome to my dt member blog post for the company 13arts.

I was inspired from the beautiful 13arts challenge mood board this month.

The colours green, yellow and orange, so lovely together.

I started my page with a DIN4 watercolour sheet and lots of 

watercolour splatters. The watercolours are from the 13arts

Watercolour set. For the orange colour I mixed yellow and red together for the right orange shade.

After that I added black gesso and black stamp images to my page.

I found this cute photo on Google free photo images.

I think that the little girl and her owl is perfect for the Autumn season which is around the corner 

at least here in Europe.

REMEMBER ME...





Stickers and transparency folie also from 13arts looks very pretty as embelishments on my page.
Green pearls and posca pen scribbeling complet the hole design.

Live Your Life

 Good morning everyone, how are you today? The last few days, we had wonderful sunny days here in The Netherlands. Perfect for a summer scrapbook layout in mixed media style, right? I played along with Tim Holtz snapshot photos, a couple on a beach. The yellow color on my page stands for the sun and the blue watercolor for the sea. Don`t we all want to live our lives as we please? Since I no longer have obligations as a designer in design teams. I am free for my other hobbies, so as gardening, reading and fitness. I am busy converting my garden entirely to a permakultur garden following the method of Ruth Stout. After three years of a warm and dry summers I can see and feel the climat change in our garden. After that, I would also like to grow more of our own vegetables,  new plant beds had to be created. What a beautiful way to spent the time outside. Guest Design Layout

 Hello everyone, and welcome to my second Guest Design project for the company  Shimmerz Paints . Once again I played along with the May release called "Flower Power Honey" This is such a beautiful Kit in soft pastel, brown and orange colors. The Kit includes also Vibez, Blingz and Shimmerz- fussy cutting paper, and decoration elements. If you like the vibe of the seventies this is your paper collection. Pauls Class... A closer look to my background work: For my background I used two of the beautiful paper sheets. But I shortened 2 cm from the top paper sheet,  so that the bottom paper sheet looks out at the edges. This is such a beautiful frame as well. Next I used two layers of clear Gesso on the front side and one layer of clear Gesso on the back side from my background paper. After my Gesso was dry, I added gel medium to a stencil and then I sprinkled randomly embossing glaze on the wet gel medium. After my embossing glaze was heat embossed I played along with the Shimmer
