Hello everyone, and welcome to my first blog post in the month June. I have for you three art journal pages as inspiration. Long time I only needed watercolors to bring the so called finsh-touch on my project. But at the moment I love to create and paint with them.  I have lots of different watercolor brands so as Schmincke, van Gogh, Winsor Newton, Old Holland Prima Marketing and 13@rts. Each  watercolor brand has its advantages and disadvantages.  I still love everything about my different watercolors. So let`s start with my inspirations. Broken Crayons still Color... First I started adding the new collage paper classifields.. After that I stamped with the new stamp zinnia and the 9dots stamp in light pink watercolor. And then I scribble with a red gel pen around the 9dots stamp images. Yellow watercolor was my next step and then stamping with black ink. The next step was black watercolor and then I added the transparency and  the collage paper title. Splatte...

13@rts stamp group post in the month of May

Image
Hello everyone, and welcome to my blog. Todays blog post is all about the stamps from 13@rts. I love stamps, I have more stamps as shoes :). I have clear stamps, rubber stamps, soft-foam stamps , wood stamps  and handmade stamps. I keep my stamps in an old cabinet from 1930 and  I have keep my stamps according to companys or topics: such as animals, natur or people. My favorite mediums for stamping is of course Ink. Distress Ink, Oxide Ink, Archival ink, Versa mark ink, Versafine and StazOn ink. But I also try other mediums so as the 13@rts watercolors or Color Glows and acrylic colors as well. The stamp image on my mixed media projects do not have to be perfect,  so for this I use the stamp without a clear block.  For a good stamp image I used the Tim Holtz stamp plat- form. 13@rts stamps are clear stamps and each new paper collection comes also with new stamp images. Of course I have my favorite stamps of 13@rts  and other companies as well always in a b...

Scrap Fx Australia blog post #2 May

Image
Hello everyone  and welcome to my second blog post in the month of May. I created an art journal page and a scrapbook page. I had so much fun with creating this inspiration for you. I bought the new paper dolls from Tim Holtz. I knew immediately that I wanted to combine this men's group in vintage style,  with the scribble figures of Scrap Fx. So let's start. A closer look to my page. I created my layout on a paper-sheet from 13@rts which I covered with clear gesso first. Than I started with adding color. Therefore I used the acrylic colors from Decoart. After adding my color I started with stamping. First with Archival Ink in green and after that with black. My next step was adding black gesso and asemic writing with a white pen. After that I added the transparency men`s washi tape black spatters  and the kraft paper words from ScrapFx. My next inspiration is an art journal page. On this page I played with my watercolors in blue and yellow, black gesso, transparenc...
