We have here today spring weather, 8 degrees. Unbelievable that in January.

Anyway...

I have a layout for you with my lovely husband, Jörgen.

My paper is from Prima Marketing and a dollar store here in The Netherland.
Lots of H2O`s twinkeling: autumn butternut, egyptian gold, burnt umber, nutmeg.
Finnabair stamp: item#580179 with white embossing powder.
Acrylic Mousse Marabu Mistletoe and Faber Castell Gelato in grey for stencilwork.
Finnabair Heavy gesso. Deco Art Media Liquid Glass for glass pearls.
Handmade flowers with Distress Ink bundled sage.
Finnabair grey glitter.
Tim Holtz stencil Argyle, TH5048. Distress paint black soot for splatters.

Live Your Life

 Good morning everyone, how are you today? The last few days, we had wonderful sunny days here in The Netherlands. Perfect for a summer scrapbook layout in mixed media style, right? I played along with Tim Holtz snapshot photos, a couple on a beach. The yellow color on my page stands for the sun and the blue watercolor for the sea. Don`t we all want to live our lives as we please? Since I no longer have obligations as a designer in design teams. I am free for my other hobbies, so as gardening, reading and fitness. I am busy converting my garden entirely to a permakultur garden following the method of Ruth Stout. After three years of a warm and dry summers I can see and feel the climat change in our garden. After that, I would also like to grow more of our own vegetables,  new plant beds had to be created. What a beautiful way to spent the time outside. Hello everyone, today I have for you a layout which I have created for the current challenge at 13arts. They have a beautiful mood board with rich colors. Thank you Anguree for your inspiration and for the mood board. At the beginning of my new series, I still glued young women faces on my layouts, but I quickly came to the conclusion that it looks good but not good enough for me. I wanted to tell stories  and stories are not on model faces but only on older ladies. There is nothing more beautiful than a happy old face.
