I am back from my vacation in South Africa....

with lots of new ideas for layouts....

but first my DT member layout for Scrap The Boys.

We have for the last month in 2017 a lovely colorful mood board.



Your challenge is to take inspiration from this picture.

 And this is my layout :


My layout is a vintage Christmas page with a photo from Santa.

 My inspiration from the mood board is the color orange and a little bit blue.

 I used for my page chipboard from Scrap FX Australia.

Live Your Life

 Good morning everyone, how are you today? The last few days, we had wonderful sunny days here in The Netherlands. Perfect for a summer scrapbook layout in mixed media style, right? I played along with Tim Holtz snapshot photos, a couple on a beach. The yellow color on my page stands for the sun and the blue watercolor for the sea. Don`t we all want to live our lives as we please? Since I no longer have obligations as a designer in design teams. I am free for my other hobbies, so as gardening, reading and fitness. I am busy converting my garden entirely to a permakultur garden following the method of Ruth Stout. After three years of a warm and dry summers I can see and feel the climat change in our garden. After that, I would also like to grow more of our own vegetables,  new plant beds had to be created. What a beautiful way to spent the time outside. Altered Paper Bag

 Hello everyone, and welcome to my design team inspiration for the company Scrapfx. I want to go out and feel you my dearest SPRING, and I will become creative by your beautiful colours. I never thought that I would ever say, Spring fascinates and inspires me so much, but it is true. As an Autumn person, I am beginning to love and feel Spring as my beloved Autumn. That is the reason why I love the beautiful leaves collage paper from ScrapFx so much. I created this time a paper-bag which I will use for a gift-bag. The kraft paper-bag has the size 20cm by 30cm. A closer look to my paper-bag: I started with a white gesso layer on my bag. After my layer was dry I added randomly black ink stamp images. Therefore I used the ScrapFx stamp, chickenwire. I decided I needed a little bit texture, so I added a mix of multipurpose gel medium and green metallic paint together and I used the mix with a ScrapFx stencil on my  background.  For my focale cluster I used a photo from an animal-book.
