Scrap FX dt member post
Hello my dear blog readers,
I am back from my vacation and art study in Italy.
The focus of my studies was the christian art in the city Lucca and
the dome cathedral next to the tower of Pisa.
For now I can tell you that two weeks is not enough time
to see all the beautiful details of the paintings.
But anyway I am back on my craft table to create some beautiful art for you.
I hope I can inspire you to create also..... maybe, something special for
your beloved ones, or for a good friend.
I made an art journal page with an abstract background.
Lots of acrylic- color- layering as yellow, hot red, turquois, black and white acrylic color from
Liquetex, Golden, Amsterdam and Old Holland.
Between the color layering I worked with stamps from ScrapFx and StazOn ink and of course
the stunning stencils from Scrap Fx.
My focal point is the beautiful flower chipboard frame which I painted with
black gesso. A black silhouette and transparency from Scrap Fx for my embellishments,
and I was done.... Now, with all the color layering and drying time from
the color layering my dt member art journal page was done in 5 hour, hihi
good art needs time, right!!
And this is my background without the focal point.
and my second project.
a scrapbook layout.... London as theme.
Focal point right:
London chipboard and bus chipboard which I painted in red and green metallic
Word chipboard which I painted in green metallic.
I stamped the man`s cylinder hat with gray distress ink.
My stencil work on the background is done with red, orange and yellow Archival Ink.
StazOn stamp images. Tim Holtz photo image.
The beautiful England country cut files shape is from Scrap FX.
Focal point left:
