Hello my dear blog readers,

welcome to my second dt member post for the company ScrapFX Australia.

I made for you two layouts and one steampunk decoration.

At this time I am fascinated by creating my own background in abstract style, with the wonderful stamps of ScrapFx.
I love the energie from the bright colors, the dramatic from the black color
and the minimal decoration with silhouette and transparency, also from ScrapFX.

Hello lovely people, how are you? Slowly we get more opportunities to move outside here in The Netherlands.  The primary schools are reopened and  the older children should be able to go back to school starting 20th of May.   It comes back a piece of normality in our lives.  But anyway, I created for you as inspiration an art journal page  and a scrapbook layout with a photo of my daughter Mia. I used on my scrapbook page the fantastic chipboards from ScrapFx. The chipboards are absolutely high quality products.  I love the thickness of the chipboards and the possibilities to edit them.  This time I painted them with watercolor, without a layer of clear gesso on it.  I was positively surprised how well the watercolor comes over on the chipboards. #2 Scrap Fx January blog post

 Hello Scrap Fx fans, How are you? We are in the last 10 days of our lockdown. Honestly, slowly I am happy when a normal life can be lived again. I wish all of us in this world that the vaccine will produce the desired result. But anyway... today it is my turn to inspire you to create with the beautiful products of  Scrap Fx Australia.  Here is the link to Scrap Fx:  http://www.scrapfx.com.au/store/ I created a whimsical scrapbook page, with a photo of a children fashion magazine. Always... I created my page on glossy paper.  Unfortunately, there are delivery problems of the glossy paper.  So I had to come up with something for myself.  I've been experimenting with my mediums that I have at home,  and honestly, the best result I got was mixing gel medium, acrylic medium and a little bit acrylic base gesso. I applied two layers of the mix on my cardstock. And I dried the whole thing not with the heat tool but on the air, the heat tool makes the gel medium bubble through the heat. Th

Merry Christmas my dear blog post reader, probably some of you are already in stress with the last preparations for the festive Christmas dinner. That's why I want to keep this blog post for the company Scrap Fx Australia short. Lets start. I have for you as inspiration an art journal page in grungy style. My photo is from Pixabay free photo images. I created this page on DIN 4 watercolor paper. At the moment my favorite medium is still the baked texture from Seth Apter. First I added a layer acrylic paint in the color burnt umber. After my first layer was dry, I repeated this step three times. My next step was adding distress wax with my finger. A little bit here and there. After that I applied a thick layer of acrylic paint, in the color dark turquise. I let everything dry well.
