SATW challenge April 2015

Hello,
I hope you have a wonderful start in your weekend.....
For the first time I made a challenge layout for Scrap Around The World.

I love the Mood Board with the awesome colours..

I create a layout from my husband and our youngest kids, Mia and Joshua.
The photo shows our fav. vacation country, France.

Black and white pics. are perfect for a colourful background.
I like to create, MixedMedia backgrounds, with a lot of sprays and ecoline,
Stickers and stamps and gesso are my fav. tools.

Hoi allemaal,
Ik hoop dat jullie dit geweldige lente weekend genieten.
Mijn zoon Joshua is jarig,19 wat gaat de tijd toch snel...
Maar hij is nu voetbal-spelen.....en ik....scrapen.
Vanavond gaan wij lekker met het hele gezin eten.

Ik heb voor mijn layout de challenge van de blog SATW. gekozen.
Dat is wel de eerste keer dat ik er mee doe.

Live Your Life

 Good morning everyone, how are you today? The last few days, we had wonderful sunny days here in The Netherlands. Perfect for a summer scrapbook layout in mixed media style, right? I played along with Tim Holtz snapshot photos, a couple on a beach. The yellow color on my page stands for the sun and the blue watercolor for the sea. Don`t we all want to live our lives as we please? Since I no longer have obligations as a designer in design teams. I am free for my other hobbies, so as gardening, reading and fitness. I am busy converting my garden entirely to a permakultur garden following the method of Ruth Stout. After three years of a warm and dry summers I can see and feel the climat change in our garden. After that, I would also like to grow more of our own vegetables,  new plant beds had to be created. What a beautiful way to spent the time outside. But anyway there is also the new book of the "Seven Sisters" waiting of me to read it. LIVE YOUR LIFE... I created this layou...

Hello everyone, today I have for you a layout which I have created for the current challenge at 13arts. They have a beautiful mood board with rich colors. Thank you Anguree for your inspiration and for the mood board. At the beginning of my new series, I still glued young women faces on my layouts, but I quickly came to the conclusion that it looks good but not good enough for me. I wanted to tell stories  and stories are not on model faces but only on older ladies. There is nothing more beautiful than a happy old face.
