13arts September layout #1

 Hello everyone,

and welcome to my single blog post for the company 13arts.

I created for you a page in lots of blue colour shades. I played along with Color Glow, 13arts mist , 

Acrylic glitter and 3Deffect powders also in blue colour shades.

I used two older paper collections from 13arts called "Sunrise and End of Summer".

My photo is from pixabay free photo images.

A closer look to my page.
All my chipboards are blue, 
some have Acrylic Glitter,
some blue 13arts mist.
The tiny rosebud flowers are also from 13arts.



Lots of stitching around my background paper.
Here and there some stamp images with black Ink.


I added for a 3D effect the beautiful star stencil with gel medium to my background.
After everything was dry I added over the stencil images pearl Color Glow.
That brings a wonderful halo to the star.


For a more brighter blue background I added a thin white wash first and after that 
13arts mist. After everything was dry I added Color Glow with a dry-brush technique
to my background paper.

At the end I added a thin black gesso wash to the edges and of course I ink the edges with black ink.

Live Your Life

 Good morning everyone, how are you today? The last few days, we had wonderful sunny days here in The Netherlands. Perfect for a summer scrapbook layout in mixed media style, right? I played along with Tim Holtz snapshot photos, a couple on a beach. The yellow color on my page stands for the sun and the blue watercolor for the sea. Don`t we all want to live our lives as we please? Since I no longer have obligations as a designer in design teams. I am free for my other hobbies, so as gardening, reading and fitness. I am busy converting my garden entirely to a permakultur garden following the method of Ruth Stout. After three years of a warm and dry summers I can see and feel the climat change in our garden. After that, I would also like to grow more of our own vegetables,  new plant beds had to be created. What a beautiful way to spent the time outside. Guest Design Layout

 Hello everyone, and welcome to my second Guest Design project for the company  Shimmerz Paints . Once again I played along with the May release called "Flower Power Honey" This is such a beautiful Kit in soft pastel, brown and orange colors. The Kit includes also Vibez, Blingz and Shimmerz- fussy cutting paper, and decoration elements. If you like the vibe of the seventies this is your paper collection. Pauls Class... A closer look to my background work: For my background I used two of the beautiful paper sheets. But I shortened 2 cm from the top paper sheet,  so that the bottom paper sheet looks out at the edges. This is such a beautiful frame as well. Next I used two layers of clear Gesso on the front side and one layer of clear Gesso on the back side from my background paper. After my Gesso was dry, I added gel medium to a stencil and then I sprinkled randomly embossing glaze on the wet gel medium. After my embossing glaze was heat embossed I played along with the Shimmer
