These are the first lines of the single from The Potbelleez an Australia band.


I created a scrapbook layout in mixed media style with the amazing products from Scrapfx.

Don`t hold back...


A closer look to my page.
I started on an old 7Dots paper sheet called soulmates with adding Distress Ink colour to the cross window stencil from ScrapFx.
After that I stamped with Versafine ink and the plus collage stamp from ScrapFx.
I added to the wet stamp image WOW embossing powder.
After the embossing was done I stamped with the chickenwire stamp and the scratching &
scribble stamp.
The next step was adding black gesso and lots of splattering.
After that I painted some of the chickenwire hexagon stamp images with a turquise posca pen.
Following by painting some red circles and red splatters and my background was done!!

Live Your Life

 Good morning everyone, how are you today? The last few days, we had wonderful sunny days here in The Netherlands. Perfect for a summer scrapbook layout in mixed media style, right? I played along with Tim Holtz snapshot photos, a couple on a beach. The yellow color on my page stands for the sun and the blue watercolor for the sea. Don`t we all want to live our lives as we please? Since I no longer have obligations as a designer in design teams. I am free for my other hobbies, so as gardening, reading and fitness. I am busy converting my garden entirely to a permakultur garden following the method of Ruth Stout. After three years of a warm and dry summers I can see and feel the climat change in our garden. After that, I would also like to grow more of our own vegetables,  new plant beds had to be created. What a beautiful way to spent the time outside. Hello everyone, today I have for you a layout which I have created for the current challenge at 13arts. They have a beautiful mood board with rich colors. Thank you Anguree for your inspiration and for the mood board. At the beginning of my new series, I still glued young women faces on my layouts, but I quickly came to the conclusion that it looks good but not good enough for me. I wanted to tell stories  and stories are not on model faces but only on older ladies. There is nothing more beautiful than a happy old face.
